Product Overview:ASME Standard Spring Lock Washers are also called ANSI spring washers, ANSI spring mesons, and ASTM open washers. The main function of open washers is that after tightening the nut, the spring washer will give the nut at the upper end an elastic force, thereby tightening the nut, increasing the friction between the nut and the product so that the nut is not easy to fall off, and playing a locking function. Spring washers can be divided into light spring washers (GB93, DIN127, UNI 1751, ASME/ANSI B 18.21.1 (Table 1)) and heavy spring washers (GB 7244 - 1987, ASME/ANSI B 18.21.1 (Table 2), SAE J 2655 - 2015). The difference between spring washers and flat washers: Spring washers can prevent loosening and increase preload, while flat washers do not have this function. Flat washers can be used to increase the fastening contact area, prevent friction between bolts and workpieces, and protect the surface of the connecting parts to prevent the surface of the workpiece from being scratched when the bolts and nuts are tightened.
